Working closely with Local Authorities, the Homes and Communities Agency, Housing Associations and other Registered Providers, as well as parish councils, Dribuild Developments is able to ensure that we target the most appropriate areas for housing, providing schemes that meet local housing requirements.
Our experienced business development and land teams have well established links with land owners and agents throughout the South West and have proven expertise in sourcing and progressing new opportunities for our clients. Once a suitable opportunity is identified we negotiate and progress the legal purchase of the site within the appropriate financial parameters.
One of the most exciting developments for the Dribuild Developments division is the creation of the local ‘Starter Home Concept’, working with the Government’s Homes and Communities Agency to deliver low cost homes.
Following Governmental cuts to Housing Association budgets, many associations have cut their in-house development teams to make necessary savings. Dribuild Developments identified an opportunity to offer a development solution for housing associations that would share the risk and still support the building of affordable homes. The Company spoke to many Housing Associations across the South West and conducted market research on their future plans for development to ensure the service is tightly focused on the needs of the region.
