Dribuild Group raise £50,000 for charity partner Together for Short Lives

Dribuild Group, Bristol’s leading construction partner and developer, are celebrating reaching £50,000 in funds raised over the past year for charity partner, Together for Short Lives.

Dribuild announced Together for Short Lives as their charity partner in May 2017, committing their support to ensuring children with life-limiting conditions and their families get the vital care they need and can make the most of their precious time together.

Since then, Dribuild have hosted many charity events to raise support and awareness, most notably their hugely successful Dribuild Charity Raceday in July 2017, where they raised a staggering £37,000 in one day.

The money raised in the last year will make a real difference to the lives of seriously ill children in the UK. £50,000 can help to run the charity Helpline for one year that gives vital lifeline support to families of children with life-limiting conditions.

Matt Tyler, Managing Director Dribuild Group, is proud of the Company’s charitable donation and is looking forward to continuing their support of Together for Short Lives:

‘Dribuild is growing year on year and as the Company grows, so does the level of our commitment within our community. Knowing that the money we raised will be used to improve the lives of the children and their families who will be faced with such adversity, is something we’re very proud of”.

Karen Yates, Corporate Partnerships Manager at Together for Short Lives said:

“We are so grateful for the support that Dribuild have provided with their fundraising over the past year and are thrilled with their continued commitment to helping children and families. These funds will help us to ensure more seriously ill children and their families are able to access the right children’s palliative care services, where and when they need it.”
